Friday Night Trash

Alongside the Blender Artist Market, on Friday nights our doors will be open and we will be running our classic festival-style rolling workshops! Pop in any time between five and nine and get trashy with us! And why not check out some fantastic local art while you are here!

When: 5pm - 9pm. with sessions on: 12th, 19th, 26th Jan & 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd Feb.

Where: Docklands Arts Collective on Wharf St, The District (previously Harbour Town) in Docklands.

Other Details: Our recommendation on age is 5+, however if younger, we recommend a parental buddy to team up with them! - Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult during the workshop. Parking:

 

There is various 2-4hr Ticketed street parking around The District on Waterfront Way and Docklands Drive. The District also provides level parking for 2-3hrs @ $10.

Party in the Park - Caulfield

A day of free entertainment and family fun, come along and make your very own Trash Puppet with our amazing team! This is a drop in session, so you can come in and out as you like! 

When: Feb 18 - 10am-4pm

Where: Princes Park, Caulfield South

Cost: FREE

More about the festival: There will be live shows by Sesame Street and Peppa Pig, art and craft activities, sustainable demonstrations, children’s cooking classes, wildlife education programs, and a talent quest. There will also be free rides, roving entertainment, storytelling and face painting.

Puppetry - A Crash Course for Beginners (Adults 16+)

Over eight weeks, learn the basics of puppetry, construction and manipulation, under the expert guidance of TP Creative Director, master puppeteer, Jhess Knight. Plus, walk away with your very own unique, fully functional puppet! 

When: Thursday Nights 6.30-8.30pm with sessions on March 15, 22 & 29, April 5, 12, 19 & 26, May 3 & 10

School Holidays - Saturday Puppet Club

As term one of school ends, we will begin another round of our Saturday Puppet Club! 

Every Saturday of the school holidays, we are giving you the opportunity to come into our world and make your very own TRASH PUPPET! Under our expert guidance, over a two hour workshop, we will teach you all the things you need to know to make your own puppet.

When: 10:30am - 12:30pm, with sessions on March 31, April 7 & 14

Where: Docklands Arts Collective on Wharf St, The District (previously Harbour Town) in Docklands.

Cost: $10 Cash at the Door, No Card - Sorry!
