MLive's Rainbow Vomit

 

When: Wednesday 11 July, 2018 

Rainbow Vomit is an interactive, eye-popping performance that will delight the entire family. Audience members are invited to watch the performance through their own pair of kaleidoscopic fireworks glasses.

Following the performance, audiences will be welcomed further into the technicolour world of Rainbow Vomit to explore the set, meet the dancers and play on the stage.

Trash Puppets will be running workshops 11am and 2pm.

Island Whale Festival

The Philip Island Whale Festival is a 3 day event that celebrates the annual whale migration and takes place July 6th - 8th.

With a weekend packed full of free or low cost activities right across the island. Whale spotting will of course be a highlight of this weekend, and visitors will have plenty of opportunities to do this from either land or sea.

Puppetry - A Crash Course for Beginners (Adults 16+)

Over eight weeks, learn the basics of puppetry, construction and manipulation, under the expert guidance of TP Creative Director, master puppeteer, Jhess Knight. Plus, walk away with your very own unique, fully functional puppet! 

When: Thursday Nights 6.30-8.30pm with sessions on March 15, 22 & 29, April 5, 12, 19 & 26, May 3 & 10

Where: Docklands Arts Collective on Wharf St, The District (previously Harbour Town) in Docklands.

School Holidays - Saturday Puppet Club

As term one of school ends, we will begin another round of our Saturday Puppet Club! 

Every Saturday of the school holidays, we are giving you the opportunity to come into our world and make your very own TRASH PUPPET! Under our expert guidance, over a two hour workshop, we will teach you all the things you need to know to make your own puppet.

When: 10:30am - 12:30pm, with sessions on March 31, April 7 & 14

Where: Docklands Arts Collective on Wharf St, The District (previously Harbour Town) in Docklands.

Cost: $10 per participant - book online below to guarantee your place!

Other Details: Our recommendation on age is 5+, however if younger, we recommend a parental buddy to team up with them! - Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult during the workshop.
